Yes sir, after 8 years of dating and a whole year of wedding planning Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg and Marzia Bisognin got married this August 19th. It was the exact same day that PewDiePie said that he had been having technical problems and had been busy and short of time to continue uploading Minecraft videos (LWIAY – 4:17). It was presumed that this was caused by his wedding, as we were acknowledged on the 20th of August, so the 9-year-olds excused him for that.
The celebration was a private ceremony that took place at London’s Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. With them, there were not much more people than their families and a couple of friends including of course JackSepticEye (Sean McLoughlin) and Roomie (Joel Berghult), among others.
We are married!!! I’m the happiest I can be ❤ I’m so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman.PewDiePie’s tweet on August 20th
In addition, the very same day he uploaded a Minecraft gameplay with Marzia, which they said was the start of a new Minecraft series. Will they perform a real Minecraft wedding?
On August 21st Felix shot this out on his Instagram account:
To please the 9-year-old army, PewDiePie uploaded his own wedding video so everyone can feel part of the moment. We are welcomed to see what Marzia and Felix went through and how they spent their time with their beloved ones.
Felix is like father to us! We are proud!
Later, on August 22nd, Felix uploaded a YouTube video titled “Married in Minecraft Epicly“, where he shows photographs of the REAL Minecraft’s wedding (courtesy of @largetrap). This is a Minecraft gameplay where he comments about the wedding while he continues with his creations in the game. He emotionally said that he is really happy about his marriage with Marzia and that he really wants to share this experience with the 9-year-olds.
My god it feels so good to… you know… getting married is epic and all, but, it feels good to be playing Minecraft (in between laughs). Awww man!
It was such an amazing day, it was the best day of my life. I know it’s so cliché to say that. Whenever I hear some other people say it, I’m like: that’s cringe. It was such an amazing day, my family was there, Marzia’s family was there, my close friends were there, everyone was in such a good mood, everyone was happy, Marzia was so beautiful… We were planning it for over a year. It’s a lot of stress to plan a wedding. (…) It could not have gone more perfect, that’s makes me so happy. I’m so happy!PewDiePie on his video titled “Married in Minecraft Epicly“
Marzia, who has changed her last name to Kjellberg in her Instagram account, @itsmarziapie, posted stunning wedding pictures of her and Felix to acknowledge her followers that their marriage had took place and wrote:
Now Marziapie is officially Pewds wife and the other way around. We’ll surely enjoy their family growing in their Minecraft series, but there will come a time when we will probably get to see their family grow in real life.
